Trend: Mineral/Geode/Gem-inspired Nail polish

Currently wearing:  Emerald City by Revlon

This polish was a recent gift. I usually prefer polish in neutral shades or red tones (the current shade of my fingernails is Pat on the Black), but I thought I would attempt wearing a shade that is similar to the malachite rings or turquoise bracelets I've been sporting this fall. Emerald City is a shimmery matte polish that reminds me of a Christmas tree. Or the darkest tones in malachite:

 Like everyone else, I've dreamt of owning Chanel's Jade polish, but I doubt that I'll ever own a bottle:
