On the First Day of Christmas...

L. L. Bean Signature!

Okay, so it's not really the first day of Christmas, but I wanted to post some of the clothes and gift ideas that have caught my eye this season.

I'm from New England, so I'm all about L. L. Bean's aesthetic. I wear Sperry's and stripes in the summer, and I love a good pair of boots and a flannel shirt (tailored, of course) on the coldest days of winter. When I saw the teaser for L. L. Bean's Signature line in the Christmas catalogue, I visited the website, and was surprised to see a hipster-friendly line of clothes and accessories that will appeal to L. L. Bean's younger customers. Obviously, none of the styles are cutting edge, but the nostalgic nod of the clothing designs are appealing and versatile -- I believe that many of the pieces could become wardrobe staples. I was especially impressed by their handbags (read: I want them. All of them.)

I think L. L. Bean has done an admiral job updating classic styles and creating practical but chic clothes and accessories. And, you know everything is of the highest quality, because Leon Leonwood Bean wouldn't have allowed anything less. Happy Shopping!
