Anthropologie introduces Leifsdottir

"A sophisticated wholesale apparel line, Leifsdottir debuted in the Fall of 2008. Artistic, timeless and collectible, the Leifsdottir line is eminently wearable, bringing a modern-dressmaker sensibility to life through fine fabrics and tailoring, ornamented with extraordinary details such as unique trims, vintage buttons and beautiful linings."

Here are some of my favorites from the collection:

In the past month, I've spent hours scouring the thrift shops and my favorite bargain websites for interesting and exciting additions to my wardrobe, and I've found myself drawn to clothing and accessories that remind me of Star Trek and Star Wars, with some elements of Rhoda so as to stay on trend. Long skirts, capes, and draped pieces are obvious choices, but I've also been drawn to futuristic styles and monochromatic looks in either bold colors or warm neutrals. I'll definitely be revisiting these themes throughout the fall months through personal sketches (when I can't find that perfect design), and I'll be sure to post my favorite designer looks.

What will you be adding your wardrobe this fall?
