I occasionally stumble across a website at work that piques my interest. Occasionally.
Today, I discovered Creative Loafing, a site featuring Atlanta's finest restaurants, art exhibits, and pop culture tidbits.
While the site includes a wealth of information, I found this article about the old Sears Roebuck building particularly fascinating. (And not only because of my penchant for trespassing). Abandoned buildings like this one are prime locations for creative fashion shoots, complete with props and idiosyncrasies. The abandoned structures provide a weathered and industrial setting that either complements utilitarian styles or emphasizes the fragility of more feminine garments. And I bet the rent is cheap.
