My quest to become Euell Gibbons began about two years ago with at trip to the library and a foraging expedition through the Peabody Essex Museum:

 

Since then, I've gathered morels in the spring, and Hen of the Woods or Maitake mushrooms in the fall.

Today's find: five delicious morels, the perfect addition to my warm spring salad of peas and tomatoes. Forage on, my friends.
