DSM + Star Wars = A Tour de Force

My inbox has received an influx of good news for the fashion world:

1. First of all, Comme des Garcons is offering some fun bags and shirts (collared and jersey) for those of us who never grow tired of Star Wars (and we are legion).

2. I also received an e-mail from J. Crew with a teaser about their new collaboration with Creatures of the Wind, the 2011 CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund Award Runner-Up. The stylish duo has created four pieces for J.Crew with a ladylike interpretation of sixties subculture, including a sweetly subversive sweater set and a preppy yet psychedelic pair of oxfords.

3. Finally, I WISH my house was Bauhaus! I received an e-mail from the Barbican Art Gallery about an upcoming Bauhaus costume party. While they won't be recreating the famous Metal Party, it's an event I hate to miss. More information here.
