In case you missed this find, I wanted to mention this look from Tracy Reese's F/W 2009 collection. I love the gold embroidery and covet the frog closures; this is probably my favorite look of the season. This style is also available in white and black.
Anthropologie is carrying a similar, more colorful design that is not selling as well. Probably because it is a little shorter and more a statement coat than the others. They also had a salmon and black version, but this sold out quickly.
Lastly, Lord and Taylor also carried a salmon sweater coat with the sought-after frog closures, but this item sold out quickly too. It was probably the best purchase from the line; in the Northeast, we wear our coats for five months, so its best to have such a strong design on an item that would not be worn so frequently. Assuming that a fashionista would only have one winter coat. Crazy reasoning on my part!
