All dressed up...

I purchased a dress at my favorite thrift store a few weeks ago:

 

Perfect for a garden party,

 

with yards and yards of silk,

 

a bateau neck and a deep-V!

 It's a vintage piece, so I'll need to repair the frayed edges of the sash, and I'll be modifying the length as well. Once I raise the hem to tea-length, I'll have to assemble the croquet set, a few cups and saucers, and invite some of my mad friends for an afternoon of fun.
