The Next Louise Brooks? (Bobbing for Haircuts)

Now that I'm a student and a minion, I have been looking for prudent ways to stay migonne.
(Too cute? I think so.)

The most affordable haircut I've found is at Bumble and Bumble University. The haircut is free, the stylists are great, and the most available haircut is a bob. So, I am embracing the bob.

Of course, who know more about the bob than Louise Brooks?

 Louise Brooks, age 14

I was reading through the life of Louise Brooks the other day, when I discovered that she died on August 8, 1985. This date may not hold any significance for you, but it is the day before I was born. It amuses me to consider that on August 9, 1985, I came into the world to be the next Louise Brooks.

Now, I'm not entirely sure what this entails. Brooks had several horrible experiences as a child and lived a very difficult life. I did not and have not. But she was also a great artist and an authentic individual. And, of course, there was the bob, which will remain my favorite haircut until I earn my graduate degree. With the combination of my best qualities and the inspiration I find in her successes, I might just reach the goals I've set for myself.

Here are some additional photographs of that famous haircut:
